Adapting the methodology I used in my “Flipped Micro-modules for Engineering Education” research project, one of the master students I supervised developed her own micro-module video and conducted flipped classroom experiments at one of China's universities for her master's thesis. This video introduces the concept, formation and impact of street canyon. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do.
Group Discussion

I have always promoted peer learning in my classroom. The Master-level classes in the FM programme must include a focus group discussion in which students (who are also experienced FM practitioners) can share their insights and practises regarding a trending topic in FM. The results of their deliberation are marked and distributed among themselves.
Inviting Industry Experts to give Guest Lectures

It was my pleasure to invite Ms. Joanne Cheung to give a guest lecture to our FM master students about workplace management. As an FM expert, Joanne has not only shared her experience in aligning workplace design to organizational purpose, mission, and strategy, but also in how to cultivate people skills in the workplace.

On Sep. 2, I delivered an orientation talk to all new students in MSc in Facility Management programme. During the orientation session, the programme information was explained in detail. I had spent a productive year with FM students, collaboratively creating memorable experiences with them over the past year. I am excited to embark on this new adventure with all of the new FM students.
